    About Our Family

We are a close-knit, joyful family of five with three young children (ages 7, almost 5, and nearly 3), a friendly 1.5-year-old Labrador, and a lively, activity-filled household. Our home sits on a golf course and is full of movement, projects, and a touch of joyful chaos. One parent works from home in a high-level, tech-focused role and frequently travels on short notice, while the other is a stay-at-home parent with a background in early childhood care.

We’re looking for a skilled, self-driven house manager/family assistant to bring structure, support, and calm consistency to our days. This person will play a key role in keeping our household running smoothly and supporting both parents and kids in the rhythm of daily life.

While this is not a nanny role, we value someone who genuinely enjoys children and can step in for light childcare support when needed - such as backup supervision, transitions, or family travel prep.

Above all, we want someone who feels like part of the extended family: someone who helps us build a home that feels good, flows well, and allows us to create more space for connection and quality time.

    Who You Are

You are calm, steady, and solutions-oriented - someone who thrives in dynamic environments and stays a few steps ahead. You notice what needs to be done without being asked and bring thoughtful, grounded energy to the home.

    You’re:

    • Discreet, professional, and respectful of boundaries
    • Warm and attuned to children (especially verbal, emotionally sensitive kids)
    • Experienced in managing households and supporting busy families
    • Efficient and organized, able to complete tasks in a timely, practical way
    • Hospitality-minded, making spaces feel welcoming and well-ordered
    • Comfortable managing a backlog of tasks, prioritizing daily needs while keeping longer-term projects on track
    • Tech-literate (Notion, Google Workspace, Android programs) and open to learning new systems
    • Fragrance-free (due to household sensitivities)
    • Comfortable with dogs — walking, training reinforcement, and even supervising pool swims
    • Respectful of religious and cultural values
    • College-educated, articulate, and mature
    • Adaptable and cheerful, with a consistently positive attitude

Bonus: Experience as a project manager, executive assistant, or in a tech-adjacent field is highly valued.

      Core Responsibilities

      • Manage specialty laundry care and occasional dry cleaning
      • Assist with guest casita prep and upkeep

        Meal Planning & Prep

        • Plan and prep simple, healthy family dinners (5 days/week)
        • Respect dietary restrictions (two lactose-intolerant family members)

        • Organize meal delivery or grocery services as needed
        • Reset and clean the kitchen after prep

                    • Provide overnight support during trips if needed
                    • Suggest creative family experiences (e.g., glamping with the kids)

                      Qualities We Value

                      • Efficiency in tasks: Balanced approach to time and results - ensuring projects, meals, and routines are handled effectively.
                      • Positive and cheerful demeanor: We are seeking someone who brings uplifting, solution-focused energy to our home.
                      • Adaptability: Willing to pivot smoothly when children are home unexpectedly or schedules change.
